Assembly on Delivery
- Includes professional assembly in your nominated room and removal of all cardboard and plastic packaging.
- Customer must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the delivery location.
- Pricing applies to ground floor deliveries only. Apartments, multi-storey homes or properties requiring stair access may incur additional charges. Please contact us prior to ordering.
- An adult (18+) must be present during delivery and assembly.
- If delivery or assembly cannot be completed due to unsafe access or incorrect delivery information, the assembly fee is non-refundable.
- Assembly cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Approved refunds will be processed less non-refundable payment processing fees.

Assembly on Delivery – Terms & Conditions
By selecting our Assembly on Delivery service, you agree to
the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Assembly Service
Our Assembly on Delivery service includes delivery of your
furniture to your nominated room, assembly of the purchased product, and
removal of all cardboard and plastic packaging upon completion.
This service does not include the removal or relocation of
existing furniture, wall mounting, electrical installation, product
modifications, or disposal of old furniture.
2. Safe Access
Customers are responsible for ensuring there is safe, clear
and unobstructed access from the delivery point to the room where the furniture
is to be assembled.
Doorways, hallways, lifts, staircases and access points must
be suitable for the size and weight of the furniture being delivered.
3. Apartments & Multi-Storey Homes
Assembly on Delivery pricing includes delivery and assembly
to ground floor locations only.
For deliveries to apartments, units or multi-storey homes,
or properties requiring stair access where no lift is available, please contact
Absolute Furniture Warehouse prior to placing your order, as additional charges
may apply.
If suitable access is unavailable, or our team determines
that the delivery or assembly cannot be completed safely, the furniture may be
left at the nearest safe and accessible location, and the assembly service may
not be completed. In these circumstances, the assembly fee is non-refundable.
4. Customer Attendance
A responsible adult aged 18 years or older must be present
for the entire delivery and assembly service.
5. Packaging Removal
As part of this service, our team will remove and dispose of
all cardboard and plastic packaging used to protect your new furniture.
6. Property & Liability
While every reasonable care is taken during delivery and
assembly, Absolute Furniture Warehouse and its delivery partners accept no
liability for accidental damage to the customer's property where access is
restricted, inadequate or unsafe.
Customers are responsible for advising us of any known
access issues prior to delivery.
7. Access Assessment
Absolute Furniture Warehouse reserves the right to request
photographs or videos of access points, staircases, lifts or the delivery
location before confirming the Assembly on Delivery service.
8. Unable to Complete Assembly
If delivery or assembly cannot be completed due to
insufficient access, unsafe conditions, inaccurate delivery information or the
absence of required customer assistance, the delivery fee and assembly fee are
non-refundable.
9. Service Availability
Assembly on Delivery is available only in selected delivery
areas and on eligible products.
Absolute Furniture Warehouse reserves the right to refuse or
cancel the service where it is considered unsafe or impractical. If the service
is cancelled by Absolute Furniture Warehouse prior to delivery, any assembly
fee paid will be refunded in full.
10. Cancellation of Assembly Service
Customers may cancel the Assembly on Delivery service by
providing at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled delivery date.
Approved refunds will be processed less any non-refundable
payment processing fees incurred at the time of purchase.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled
delivery date, or after the delivery team has been dispatched, are not
eligible for a refund of the assembly fee.
11. Acceptance
By selecting Assembly on Delivery at checkout, you
acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms &
Conditions.
